CITY FESTIVAL 500 YEARS OF UTOPIA

24.09.2016 – 17.01.2017

500 years ago, Thomas More’s Utopia came hot off the press in Leuven. Utopia gave Leuven global appeal and recognition. And it is doing so again thanks to our celebration of the fifth centenary of Utopia with a vibrant city festival. Utopia is being relived in Leuven with major exhibitions, contemporary art, theatre, dance, music, film, city walks, lectures and a social project.

Masterpieces by Quinten Metsys, Jan Gossaert, Hans Holbein, Albrecht Dürer and their contemporaries will be exhibited at M – Museum Leuven.
